  Harve

When it comes to banking and finance, Harvey Heartley, Jr. has always worked to provide an opportunity for low and moderate-income citizens to realize their dream of owning a home or investing in property.
Heartley’s company, HDH Partners, Inc. specializes in homeownership, business finance, commercial lending, receivable factoring and financial consulting.
A native of Raleigh and graduate of Saint Augustine’s College, Harvey began his banking career in 1979 as a loan officer with State Employees Credit Union. There, he was instrumental in expanding branch offices in eastern North Carolina.
By 1984, he was promoted to Vice President / City Executive of Raleigh, then to VP/City Executive of Durham with the primary objective of expanding the credit union in the region. He spearheaded the opening of three new locations and implemented direct deposit services for over 10 state departments.

In 1987, Harvey accepted a position with Central Carolina Bank (CCB) where he was responsible for commercial lending, mortgage lending, construction lending, consumer lending, and managed business development for the highest growth area in the city. Sun Trust Bank (formerly CCB) was the seventh

largest bank in North Carolina. In 1993, he was promoted to Vice President and two years later, selected to Who’s Who Worldwide of Business Leaders. In 1997, he became Vice President of Atlantic States Bank (a subsidiary of First Citizens Bank) with the charge of developing it from its financial foundation, successfully opened 20 bank branches in Georgia and 15 in Fort Myers, Fl.
In 2001, Harvey was named President / CEO of College Heights Credit Union in Fayetteville, NC, a minority owned community development credit union that had successfully loaned millions of dollars to facilitate home purchases, renovations, small business startups and expansions.
Ten months later, he took over operation of Generations Community Credit Union as president and CEO. There, he was charged with the responsibility of consolidating minority credit unions and converting them into a full service chartered operation that would serve thirteen counties in the state.
And in 2003, Harvey left Generations to open HDH Partners, Inc. as a full service financial lending corporation.
The company motto is “we don’t just make loans; we take advantage of the opportunity to help people.”
